Repacking the printer

1. Power off and remove the power cord from the printer.
   

2. Gently pull out the paper tray until it stops.
   

3. Hold the tray with both hands, lift the front up slightly and pull it completely out of the printer.
   

4. Remove the paper from the paper tray, and store it in a dry, dust-free place.
5. Insert the cardboard spacer in the tray as illustrated on the left.
   

6. Hold the paper tray with both hands, align it with the opening in the printer and gently insert it.Push the paper tray completely back into the printer.
7. Remove the tray cover.
   

8. Remove the imaging unit. Use the removal section of this document if you require help in removing the imaging unit.
9. To protect the printer from damage, pack it in a box before transporting it. After moving the printer to the new location, you need to readjust the color registration. For details, refer to Adjusting Color Registration.
